The Macintosh operating system - novice to advanced (including Mac OS X)

All the basics to enable you to make the Mac do what you want it to do; to manage your files, connect to printers, scanners and other equipment, and control the whole system properly. The Mac is much easier to use than a Windows PC, but someone still has to show you the essentials.

Mystified by the Finder, Chooser, Fonts, Control Panels, Extensions, memory, windows and folders? Can't get to grips with Mac OS X's Print Center, System Preferences, Dock, Home directory and the rest? We can remove the mystery and help you to master all these important elements.
 

Macintosh application programs - beginner to intermediate, including:

The Internet - email and the World Wide Web - beginner to advanced

  • Setting up your system to connect to the Internet (including broadband systems — ADSL and Cable)
  • Using the World Wide Web
  • Email, file transfer, and other useful Internet functions.
